AMY DORN KOPELAN, President and Founder
Amy Dorn Kopelan brings to her conference management business over 20 years’ experience as a television producer and network executive. Since she launched Bedlam Entertainment, Inc. in 1995 she has created and branded three recurring executive summits and consulted on dozens of other conferences, roundtables and meetings sponsored by leading corporations, associations and educational institutions.

Under the Bedlam Entertainment umbrella Ms. Kopelan not only provides a range of producing and consulting services to diverse organizations and institutions, but also produces annual conferences that enable women leaders to debate critical trends that will affect leadership and business in the next 25 years. She conceived and developed The Corporate State: A Women's CEO and Senior Management Summit in 1998; In the Lead: Women Entrepreneurs Re-Shaping Corporate America in 2000; and Women's Athenaeum: The Thinking Woman's Voice on Socio-Business Issues in 2003, The Corporate State: Canada in 2004 and BUZZ: An Executive Women's Think Tank in 2005.

Ms. Kopelan is personally committed to creating opportunities for women to advance in business. In 2005, Ms. Kopelan launched COACH ME Inc., a business education program for emerging talent. COACH ME teaches the "unwritten rules and subtle skills" necessary for career advancement and leadership. The program has an impressive and diverse faculty that presents its programs
at conferences and inside of companies. Ms. Kopelan is co-author of I Didn't See It Coming, a book that helps everyone avoid being blindsided in business. She has been featured in CEO Magazine, Chief Learning Officer magazine, and CNN.com. She is an advisor to Grace Institute, and serves on the Boards of The Capstone Partnership and The Council on Competitiveness’ Strategic Communications Initiative. She is also a member of The International Women’s Forum.

Prior to founding Bedlam Entertainment, Ms. Kopelan spent most of her career in senior management at ABC Television. During her six years as Vice President of Direct Marketing for ABC Daytime Programming, she served as publisher of Episodes Magazine and launched ABC Daytime's first licensing department. As Vice President of ABC Morning Television, she directed the programming strategy for Good Morning America, which soon became the top-rated morning program in the country. At ABC News, she served as an editor for such major news programs as ABC Evening News.

Ms. Kopelan graduated cum laude from Boston University’s School of Public Communication and holds a special studies degree from the University of Grenoble, France. Ms. Kopelan lives in Manhattan with her husband and has three sons.

            

KATHERINE LEASK, Director of Conferences
With over a decade of special events production experience in both the non-profit and for-profit arenas, Katherine Leask oversees all operational phases of conference production and management for Bedlam Entertainment Inc. Prior to joining Bedlam in 1999, she worked extensively with Lorelei Enterprises on such major accounts as The National Urban League, New York Landmarks Conservancy, UNCF, French-American Foundation, and Scenic Hudson. As an independent Event Consultant, she has worked with such clients as the American Health Foundation, Italy-America Fund, and Historic Hudson Valley, providing everything from event planning to on-site management services to specialized calligraphy.

As a performer, Katherine has worked with numerous clients in the production of major national trade shows and product launches, particularly with such companies as Pfizer, IBM and Apple.

A veteran actor and director in stage, television, commercials and voiceovers, Katherine has performed Off-Broadway, throughout the United States, and in Europe.
